The Irish Cleanroom Society was established in 1998 by professionals involved in various sectors of the cleanroom industry to provide a forum for the interchange of ideas and working practices and a support network for Companies involved in cleanroom technology and contamination control.
The Society has become representative of the Irish cleanroom industry with participation by users of cleanroom and controlled environments, designers, constructors, cleanroom consultants and vendors of cleanroom-related products and services.
The ICS is run by an elected Committee and through a number of workgroups encompassing such areas as Standards, Training, Events, Technical and Membership. The formation of special interest groups by the members is actively encouraged.
The ICS is a member of ICCCS (International Confederation of Contamination Control Societies).
